"AleksiB is a bad IGL because he did nothing in OG"
|
W!LDF1RE
To everybody who says that, look at that goddamn roster history. First he get's a roster with Tier2 player, and overall peanut brain ISAA, washed NBK who was in a serious need of a break, average to below average Mantuu and Valde, the worst star riffler T1 (he could be a top tier support though). Then the team upgrades sure, and he get's his first player that actually could be in a top10 playing his role in Flamez, but then he get's niko. No, not the best riffler in history, the fatter, cheater and overall awfull Dannish knock off. How the hell did you want AleksiB to get tittles in there?
Topics are hidden when running Sport mode.
Heroic were winning with niko tho
2022-01-09 03:01
Yeah, when he and Hunden were using the coach exploit. Look at his performances in the old Heroic and his performances after the coach bug. He was kicked for a reason
2022-01-09 03:03
Well even tho niko isnt that terrible, i think that you are right and for example styko would be better
2022-01-09 03:12
Great example of a T1 player that plays support and isn't useless. Quite the contrary
2022-01-09 03:14
I still don't understand what the coach bug is
2022-01-09 03:15
So a quick explanation. In online matches, coaches would be in the Csgo match itself, as spectators of one team (picture it as if you die, but not seeing made trajectories, this is not the best and most precise description but you get the point) A bug was found that the coach could go into the free spectator mode (the one where you fly arround) and pick a spot to be watching the match without moving. So a coach could just go to banana inferno or CT D2, get all the info to their team, and use that as basically wall hack
2022-01-09 03:21
Lmao what the fuck Also is this related to the no contact rule with the players in the major?
2022-01-09 03:23
they won tourneys after hunden was kicked. even if it was online, its not like there was lan around then so its hard to say they wouldnt win on lan either since heroics core made top4 at the major
2022-01-09 03:24
Then again Heroic are a good team, and I do believe all the other players are good (maybe borup is a little bit subpar doe). That doesn't make Niko any better.
2022-01-09 03:26
doesnt make him better but heroic was winning with him nonetheless
2022-01-09 03:27
Bas players In og exept mantu valde
2022-01-09 03:02
Valde is awful at his role. It's like putting perfecto in NiKo's roles, or AmaneK AWPing. Sure they are good players in their respective comfort areas, but are shit at being a star. Mantuu wasn't bad, just meh
2022-01-09 03:04
aleksib hate is too much considering the players he had on OG
2022-01-09 03:04
Imo Valde, Mantuu and flameZ are all better players than how they've performed under Aleksi. I think flameZ has legit star potential and Mantuu could be a top 10-15 awper. I do think he was hampered by ISSAA and niko, but NBK was a solid T1 player when they signed him.
2022-01-09 03:04
Valde was in his peak sometime before OG when he carried North. He then fell off and got picked by OG. Never was a great star riffler since he had to IGL. Mantuu wasn't even an Awper for much time before. And he only is a top20 awper because there aren't many Awpers, because he is just average at best in T1. I don't see a problem with Flamez doe. He was always the entry guy, plus playing in T2 with Endpoint I always going to make his numbers way fatter. He never has potential to be a suoer star, but a great riffler sure, and he is on his way to become that NBK wasn't a solid T1 player. He was an avverage to sometimes good t1 player, that fell off a lot in the period.
2022-01-09 03:08
I find this kind of ironic. Valde fell off because Aleksi wasted his potential. Still, as an anchor having 1.11 rating in 2019, 2020 and 2021 is not bad at all. His rating is amazing yet Aleksi always get's nothing out of him because his positioning is wasted and for some reason decided to remove him from his best role. Valde is still amazing and totally wasted in OG thank god he left. Mantuu was already an awper in 2018 and 2019, 2 years before he joined. He didn't use it as much as the AK but it was a close 2nd. He has been and still is very good, not amazing but very good. He is very consistent and his playstyle is quite similar to Device and Broky. With proper tuning he could have been amazing. FlameZ is very inexperienced and needed the refinement. You need an IGL like Karrigan who can mold and perfect talent making it the best. For now FlameZ has been alright, had his highs and lows. NBK sucks, End of story. Why did they get him back? Niko is meh, just average hard support player.
2022-01-09 03:34
valde fell off? bro, he came from north, which is a meme at this point as its where all prospective danish players went after their careers had ended
2022-01-09 03:56
Valve fell off before joning OG LMAO
2022-01-09 04:29
hes a bad igl because hes not a leader of men hes too much of a beta no way he'll be able to handle the likes of niko
2022-01-09 03:05
If he was able to handle allu why couldn't he be able to handle niko
2022-01-09 03:07
allu literally took over, got him kicked, and caused a huge drama shitstorm lmao keep burying ur head in the sand, i guess
2022-01-09 03:11
He kept allu under control, but then again when the results went to shit, somebody was going to be kicked.
2022-01-09 03:14
actually it was just a mere 3 months or something like that after they beat astralis at a blast grand final that the decision to kick aleksib was made public. it was also the event where ence stopped astralis' 30 map winstreak on nuke. truth is no one but allu knows why aleksib was kicked. probably vanity, thought he could do a better job at leading most likely. i've heard allu speak and honestly that's not the voice which is leading teams. oh, and since he is/was an owner in the ence org that gives him a disproportional influence in how such issues as roster changes are handled. technically he was the boss of the players on the team.
2022-01-09 04:01
Aleksib overrated Normal player and Ok IGL
2022-01-09 03:08
He got that awufll OG lineup to finals and Top5. Plus Ence whose roster was never that good (just look at where the players went)
2022-01-09 03:09
Did he do anything else besides that? Taking a team to a Major Final as IGL Steel did too, Jame did it too
2022-01-09 03:11
AleksiB achievements: -Ence to major final -Keeping that same team as top2/3 and getting to a bunch of finals (keep in mind how overperforming the team was with him, and what they did as players after) -Making that OG subpar roster Top5 -Doing the item above multiple times -Getting that same OG T2 roster to T1 event finals
2022-01-09 03:18
Sry but any trophy?
2022-01-09 03:22
Brazil moment.
2022-01-09 03:24
I'm asking you, what relation my country has with the conversation
2022-01-09 03:25
If -boombl4 +aleksib you would call him one of the best igls in recent history
2022-01-09 03:27
Boombl4 is a dear example of underrated IGL, thanks for talking about
2022-01-09 03:29
Send me more, I want to see his trajectory since 2019
2022-01-09 03:28
I said TROPHIES, I say big events. And why are you sending a link to events where they are second or third?
2022-01-09 03:36
First you said "any trophy" I did send you one then you said " I want to see his trajectory since 2019" Edit. Ther was 1 major playoffs they made aswell in Boston even tho Aleksi knew he was going to get benched after the tournament. hltv.org/events/4443/starladder-major-be..
2022-01-09 03:43
"Send me more" = Send me more trophies
2022-01-09 03:37
So you don't actually know how hard it was to win any trophies in tier 1 cs in 2019??
2022-01-09 03:40
What, justifying not winning because of third parties... It's like a professional boxer saying he lost because his opponent was stronger kk. I respect ENCE, and the Finnish CS, I know they have the potential to go far in CS, but I still think Aleksib is overrated
2022-01-09 03:45
I think he is fairly rated there are alot of delusional fans and alot of haters. My point was here that even tho he hasn't that many trophies yet, he still made alot of playoffs or even finals against the best of the teams at the time and actually made the games really competitive and close. I have watched his gameplay ever since he joined ENCE and I see his potential he leads. Now that he has a top tier team he should be getting those trophies that are missing from his cabinet and actually show what he is made of.
2022-01-09 03:50
why wouldn't he send you those results? should we talk about how g2 failed to win the major and belittle the fact that they were only a grand finalist in the major and not the winner? being autistic like this and demanding to see the trophies that they failed to achieve despite the team clearly reaching really high heights isn't really holding a discussion. it's just you being an ass.
2022-01-09 04:06
Firstly, I asked to see the trophies in response to my comment that what Aleksib did besides being his team's IGL in a Major and reaching the Final, and alias I'm waiting until now for that (to be able to prove the opposite of my point), the finnish friend from the comment above I didn't answer because I understood his point, and despite thinking differently I respected him, because he had the right arguments, and acted like a man, not like a kid like you who uses "Autistic" with intent in a pejorative way when realizing that you are without argument
2022-01-09 04:16
blast madrid, man. he did say that. he also pointed at starseries too. those are trophies. the fact of the matter is ence was a team on an upward trajectory until they decided to bench aleksib. after that it was just all downhill.
2022-01-09 04:21
Aleksibot
2022-01-09 03:10
Well I can't counter that logic
2022-01-09 03:18
AleksiB is a bad IGL because he did nothing in OG And was abusing aug meta
2022-01-09 03:15
Irony or?
2022-01-09 03:18
So many dumb people here thinking that having the perfect calls will win you rounds when it depends almost entirely on the players hitting the shots they need to hit IGL's job is to make it easier, that's all
2022-01-09 03:19
But doesn't Aleksib just do that? He is avarage 1.00 rated player and G2 would have 3 superstars in the team and 1 headshot machine entry don't you think that isn't enough firepower to win the duels?
2022-01-09 04:01
Language, family website
2022-01-09 03:26
Sorry menss
2022-01-09 03:27
I was joking mens))
2022-01-09 03:28
You have to be the person with the worst takes on the site.
2022-01-09 03:26
What there is factually wrong my man? Tell me, how great were OG's players, or how well did the individuals in Ence did after AleksiB?
2022-01-09 03:28
AleksiB did fuck all since ENCE, sure he didnt win an event but worse, he didnt qualify for the major, big failure overall but NiKo wanted him so thats cool right
2022-01-09 03:28
NiKo didn't want him. He didn't really want anybody besides an AWPer. He actually had a bad relation with aleksi in the past. He didn't do fuck all in Ence he got them to a bunch of finals (4 if I recal correctly) more semis and quarters, etc.. Again qualifying for the major with OG, yes it isn't optimal to fail, and yeah, he did fail a bit there, but I isn't something that I would say paints his carreer in a much worse light
2022-01-09 03:31
Since/after ENCE same meaning. Yeah anyway for me the biggest mistake is to bench amanEK. Still hyped by m0NESY.
2022-01-09 03:33
i agree with topic
2022-01-09 03:38
i knew it's your topic without even checking
2022-01-09 03:39
Titles? LOL didnt even qualify for lans
2022-01-09 03:44
agreed. as much as i like all the players on this current og roster, they are inconsistent af
2022-01-09 03:44
I completely agree with your opinion. He has in fact bad teammates to win tier 1 tournaments. But I dont think Aleksib is better than nexa. Nexa did a great job on G2, he does not deserve that. He reaches finals with Amanek as an awper and having a good Impact as IGLing.
2022-01-09 03:45
+1 - Nexa is a bad move
2022-01-09 03:48
But didn't nexa want to leave by himself? Edit. Atleast that is what I have heard.
2022-01-09 03:56
just give them time you cant change minds of ppl who dont want to belive in them so I guess just wait and see
2022-01-09 04:02
Ibait but being honest
2022-01-09 04:08
feel like we have just had only inconsistent players or rookies (or both), and nexa may very well fall into that category, but mentality and conflict is what make or breaks the team, not skill as they all have it
2022-01-09 04:17
Og styko? Og michu?
2022-01-09 04:18
true: aleksi doesnt have much to work with and get titles but also true: some of his ideas might be so complex they are inaplicable, ESPECIALLY in a team like g2 therefore: aleksi is good, COULD BE great, but he's "trying to play chess with checkers pieces" like b1ad3 was earlier in navi
